Default 2jZ-GE to JDM 2JZ-GTE swap?

I currently have a 94 NA supra that I am considering changing to a twin-turbo. I came across a lot of sites selling the JDM 2JZ-GTE's with low miles rather cheap due to Japan's emmissions policy. I am 99% sure that this is the route that I want to go down, however I was wondering if their was anybody on the forums who have done this kind of swap before?
I do realize that I will need quite a few things to complete the job(intercooler, different radiator, etc) but I was wondering how direct the swap actually is. I am planning to keep my 5-speed for now, but does it mate to the GTE correctly as I don't recall ever seeing a twin turbo with a 5-speed?
I plan on doing everything myself, but I have heard of a few people who have done something similar, got in over their head, and had to pay someone to do it anyway. How complicated a task is this swap? Can someone with a reasonable amount of mechanical ability take this on or is it best left to experienced pros?
Basically what I am looking for from this post is 1) a better idea of what I am going to have to buy that doesn't come with these JDM engines. and 2) more details on what I can expect as far as actual complexity of the swap. Any help with this is greatly appreciated and I will include a link below to list exactly what is included with the engine incase someone is not familiar.

This may not be the exact site I use, but all the sites I have browsed include the exact same stuff so I just used the most easily recognized site. Also I question I have is if a VVTI GTE would cause any additional issues given my current supra does not have it. Not exactly clear on VVTI as far as if it uses a module or is purely mechanical in nature? Sorry if I asked any stupid questions, but I would like some input.
Thanks in advance!
