Default cps issue

I found on my car even with the crank shaft pulley and cam shaft pulleys aligned up my car would not start correctly.
I played around with the CPS and still nothing.

I then discovered by using a strobe light that my timing was out by about 180 degrees....... and by turning the cps the starting and idling became better.

To cut a long story short. The previous owner had removed and dismantled the CPS and put it back together incorrectly. One of the bits inside (cant remember what it was called) was back to front..... ie 180 degrees out.

So, try messing with CPS and make sure it is aligned and set correctly.

Cheers
