The switch could be the parking brake switch. Check the wiring colors against the TEWD. Does either pressing or releasing the plunger cause the "Brake" light to turn on when the ignition is on?

The hose pictured isn't stock. I'm sure it's just something someone found that would fit instead of buying a new one. The only additional port on the N/A intake is the power steering vacuum port as BT mentioned but that is before the resonator.
