Clutch slave cylinder leak

My leaking clutch slave cylinder is on my 1982 Toyota Supra. It is a 5 speed manual transmission and the engine is the 5M-GE.
Could this leak ruin my clutch or harm the transmission? Will replacing the cylinder fix all?
