Supra conversion

Hey I have a lot to do to my supra before I by an engine for it. It's an 87 Supra and its an automatic for now. This is my first Supra that I own and I need help to convert it to standard. What parts do I need in able for me to convert it? It currently has the 7m and is not running so ill rather work on it. I need to know whats a good but cheap engine? I'm not really familiar with the engine for these cars. I've usually owned only 240sx before. Thanks.
