Cool not Starti7mge engine

It is probably not the coil or ignitor. With the key on check the black wire with orange stripe coming out of igniter plug; if it has 12 Volts the ignitor is good. Before buying this $500.00 item, check this out firsrt. Unplug the plug going to the distributor; It has 4 prong plug; White wire(G1, yellow wireNE. red wire g2 and green wire g which is ground. Do a resistance check(OHMS) between g1and g2; g2 to G; g1to g and NE to G . all should read between 140-180 ohms. Any thing else lower indicates a bad coilpickup coil. Unfortunately you can no longer just buy the pick-up coils, you have to buy the distributor. About$120-150.00. Also these vechicles all have the anti theft stero alarm system, and i do not know hoe to troublr d\shoot that. Good luck
