When you say “comes out of the side of the car “ is this right, left, back or front? Any smoke under the hood ? If so; it could be oil dripping on the exhaust manifold heat shield from a leaky distributer oil seal.
All hoses are available from Toyota in the UK not sure about the US, if not; Samco & many other companies offer a silicon alterative.
