Oil Catch Can
The oil catch can is designed to remove water produced during combustion through crank case ventilation.
If you start and run your engine for a period of time, which does NOT bring the engine to FULL operating temperature, you will create water vapor that will collect in your crankcase.
Any car which is not driven, must be started and run, at an increased RPM, for a period of time to bring the engine to full operational temp.
This requires approximately 45 minutes @ 2500 RPM.
