What does this watch face remind you of ?

I was working on a bag of wrist watches when I came across this Jules Jurgensen model 5252CL. Something about it caught my eye and I couldn't figure out why until I was driving my car and looked at it. The dial face reminds me of the gauge cluster I've been looking at for the past 22 years. This watch has some interesting features like day of the week and day of the month in separate dials. The second sweep hand has the orange like the speedometer or tachometer.
