OK, easy. That hose comes out and connects to a plastic T on the firewall. One side the T connects to a hard plastic hose that goes over to the heater control valve. I think there's a vacuum check valve there too. The other side connects to the cruise control and further on connects to the vacuum / pressure transducer that displays vacuum / pressure on the dashboard. There is another double T in that line between the cruise control and the transducer. See the photos and arrows. This is on a 1987 Turbo car. There may have been some changes between non-turbo and later years.
