Put a lot of pressure in the tires, stiff rear anti roll bar. Tires that are hard and have most of the treads slip best. Also narrow tires work better for drifting in a low horsepower car. A locked rear works better too. Take as much weight out of the back as possible. You really have to keep the rpms up to keep the tires sliding. The turbo would be better as it has more torque. Watch a Viper sometimes. It has so much bottom end torque that smoking the tires is easy.
