more power

i just wanted to get some advice on what would be some good mods to do to my 87 n/a. wanting to get as much power as i can without adding the turbo. I know..i know.. why would anyone not want to add the turbo. just so can prove to a friend that their are other ways to produce power. but me kinda new to the supra (even though i've had it for 2 years) would like some good upgrades that will boost my power and won't make my wallet pass out. I think i've got most bugs worked out of it and i finally have a little money to blow on it. let me know what you think.
