i had a clutch job done to my old acura, they didnt replace the rear main seal, well i picked the car up in texas and headed for L.A. I lost fifth gear in the middle of new mexico limped it home( all the way to oregon) on fourth gear.
by the time i get home my brand new clutch starts to slip...come to find out after the clutch job, the guys at the shop didn't fill the tranny back up with oil, and the heat from me driving it with no oil all the way home in fourth fried the rear main seal and leaked oil in the clutch housing ....i cant believe i didnt check the tranny it would have saved me alot of cussing at the sun ...but hey you live and you learn
