I take it you gav up on the MKIV idea.... Good idea you can swap the drivtrain out of a MKIV into a MKII and be alot lighter also..Less wheight means more speed..Yes there are diferent models..There are slight changes in the body panels per years also..The 82 to 83 models had a single front facing turn singnal and a one peice spoiler that went over the top of the hatch.. The 84 to 86 had a signal that wrapped around the front corner of the fender and had a 2 peice spoiler trhat had a small portion at the top and continued down the hatch and then formed a duck tail type of lip...There were also diferent model options..For instance there is the L-Type and there is the P-Type..Mine is a P-Type which is noted by the spoiler and the fender flares..All of the L-Types were not available with the fender flares and some if not any came with a spoiler of any kind..L-Types also did not get headlight washers..The P-Types are very hard to find with a leather interior but almost all L-Types came standard..If you would like to learn everything then go to the celicasupra.com forums and look under the FAQ section and use the search and all of your questions will be answered there..
