I put lowering springs on my 87 and KYB's on it the same time. I wish now I would have gone with the stock shocks, which are good shocks, with the lowering springs. Then I would go for better sway bars. I wanted the car to turn flatter, which it does but it is much harsher then I would have liked. I noticed someone said that the stock swaybars are hollow! They were right! I wondered why the car still rolled in the corners. Not as bad now with the better shock/spring combo, but upgraded swaybars would have been the way to go I think.
The car would have been a little bit more compliant on the roads and handled much better. I don't mind a stiffer suspension, but over a lot of bumps, it causes my CD to stop for a second or two because of the jarring. Oh well, now for bigger riims!!!
