Ok, so I took it to the same place that I got my alternator from. They test charging systems and the alternator output. He tested everything with max load on it, and my battery and alternator are still putting out a lot of amperage. So they charging system is not the problem here. I asked him what it could be, and I mentioned that when I have the hot restart, the volts seem low. He told me it cant be the battery and alt. because they read above normal. He said that it does that because the engine is struggling to stay on, and so the alternator isnt cranking enough to show a good reading. Which makes sense to me.
I went out and bought some insulation tape that holds temps up to 1500 deg. I put some on exposed wires that I thought might be overheating. But I dont think that solved the problem at all.....
He mentioned it could be a problem with my MAF, a sensor in it is overheating or it just might be bad. Could that be the problem?
Or could it be a starter problem?
Something HAS to be overheating for it to do this on hot restarts....
Anyone have any other ideas?? I need help lol.........
