set crank to 0
make sure cams are aligned with notches in the plate behind
pull out cps
reset cps to timing marks
put back in
warm up car
turn off
short te1 and e1 terminals in diagnostic box
get timing light
connect it up (make sure it won't get tangled in fan etc)
turn on car
turn cps till timing hits 10 on the crank

done
