I just picked up a very good condition '88 Mk3 today for the tidy sum of ?500. It's a N/A 7M-GE version, and although its seriously impressive so far, i just have a few questions.
Firstly, the clutch. How expensive is it to have replaced? I'm not sure mine needs it, but the clutch pedal is a lot lighter than a lot of other cars i've driven, and the last time i had a car with a clutch that light, it was on the verge of complete death. Could be just me though....
Second, the voltmeter has no backlight. I'm guessing this is just a bulb issue - seeing as all the other gauges light up fine (the gauge works, just you cant see it in the dark!). How does one go about replacing the bulbs on these?
That's pretty much it for the moment i think!
