Aaargh! Clutch Dilemma...
Okay - just wanting clarification more than anything, I know i need a replacement clutch, which sucks, but hey, 18 years of use is pretty damn good. However, my car is made in January '88 model (n/a 7M-GE) i think, but does that mean that it uses '87 spec parts, or '88?
Now, when i look on all the parts places, there are two types of clutches for the non-turbo's, the 86.5 to 88 and the 88 to 93. Problem is - which one do i get? the 86.5 to 88, or the 88 to 93?!
I'm looking specifically at the EBC clutches - mainly because the price is good, and i've used EBC brakes in the past and they were pretty damn good. Other clutch manufacturers do the same thing.
I was under the impression that all the clutches for the W58 gearboxed manual non-turbo supra's used just one type of clutch - and i wasnt aware that they changed. Help me decide which one to get so the garage can fit the one i want, rather than the crappy OEM one they'll chuck in there!!
