which is better

i need som serious info about this topic. me and my coworker have been debating for the past two days about which is better. a single turbo or a twin turbo. my personal opinion is that a single turbo is better. and he always says that a twin turbo is better. if i could get actual reasons which would be better please let me know thanks.
