89 Turbo

Hey i just bought a bad ass turbo supra 2 weeks ago. It has 215,000 on it but body is in good shape, and the engine runs strong. The only thing right now is it will cut off sometimes. It's idled at 1300 twice. Most off the time it sits around 600 which is ok. It only cuts off a couple times but it will start right back up. The seller told me about the IAC valve which sounds like my problem. I just wanted a to see if anyone has had any of the same problems. I found that part for $392.00. any suggestions?
