You have to pull the engine. There is no way around that. You have to get the crankshaft out and fix that damage, fix the rod that went out and finally rebuild the engine. You can't just do one rod and you have to pull the engine out to repair it. Get a manual, a lot of metric tools and clean place to work on it, or buy a rebuilt short block and put that in.
It is a very involved procedure, as it would be in any car. You should probably get someone that is familiar with this kind of job and have them help.
