OK well, since this thread is jacked anyways, I'll just post the pics of my new front lip I finished making today...
materials list:
- 16 ft of vinyl baseboard moulding @ $.54/ft
- 8 - steel mending strips 4'' variety @ $.59/ea.
- 1 - 8ft. strip of drilled steel strapping material @ $7.95
- 4 bags or #10-24 x 1/2'' machine screws with nuts @ $.98/ea
- 1 can of contact cement @ $6.95
- 1 - 3'' cheap paint brush @ $1.95
- 1 roll of super heavy duty indoor/outdoor foam tape @ $3.95
Total Cost = $38.08
Result:
