Hey man,

If you are down in BC, then you need to watch out when you are buying a car at a used car dealer ship. Have everything checked first. Like safety inspections, air care and so on so forth. Sometime they take out the airbags and sell it seperatly. And each of those babies will cost you 2000+ each to replace. And you wouldn't even notice if it is not there. And you have to make sure all the paper work are correct and so on so forth.

But in my opinion, a car that is 12 years old is not worth that much.
Yes it is modified but usually when cars are modified, the value depreciates...not increase. And yes, the milage is 17,000mile. But for a 12 years old car that only have 27,200km on it and is coming out form Florida? That is a little hard to believe. If I have a mark 4 and I was down in Florida, I'll be racing the living hell out of that thing and droved it everywhere. The odo meter might be wigged. And If the meter has been wigged, then the car is worth no more then a few hundred no matter what condition it's in. Hint, if they found out that a car's odo meter has been wigged, then the car is going straight to the junks. (No longer legal on street.) That is what I heard anyways.

Plus it got appraised by a private company...Not "Toyota" it self.
In my opinion, always trust the little black book for used car purcahes and not listen to the sales BS's. (Little black book is a book you can get at Canadian tire to check out current used car pricing and value depending on condition.) Hint, new supra coming out in 2008. If that happens...all older model pricing will drop again.

Plus 30,000us is only 32,700cad... 40,000us is only 43,960cad....6657us is 7316cad.

The dealer is selling it at 48,000 that is like buying a brand new car with that money. If not, you can import a Nissan Skyline GTR R32 From japan for 34,000 and still have 14,000 left over to pimp it up.
Or you can get a MR2 and have it fully tuned with that money.

Plus you have a 2004 G35 coupe...why do you want to trade that in for a 1994 car for around the same price? If you like the feeling of a turbo, then just add one on. The G35 is the next thing to the skyline. If I had one of those I would just keep it and tune it up.

Althought there are lots of good things about the supra and endless ways to tune it, I don't think it is a good idea to trade in a 2004 for a 1994 for around the same price man. Not worth it.

If you want a supra, get one that is stock. Different people have different driving style. And Tuning is about having the car to drive the way you like.
Plus, stocks are cheaper.

The supra is vary comfortable for a sport car. Fast and powerful. Like what other people say; "Because of the supra big block engine, high horse power and torgue output, rear wheel drive, and tuning capability...it is considered as a japanese hot rod mussle car." It is worth to get, but not worth trading a 12 year newer car for the same price for it.
