yeah there are a few mk III's here mostly NA's and a couple of turbos. The dealer never sold them though so parts support is going away. The big cars here for the kiddies are skylines and 280ZX's.
Ill probably convert my motor when I come back from vacation in August to either a 7MGTE, 1JZGTE or 2JZGTE. Prolly stick with the 7MGTE though as all 3 over here have automatic trannies, mine is W58. The 7M I can just get the loom and puter from a wrecking yard in the USA and bring it back here and stuff a 7MGTE in my 87 NA. R154 will be a problem though. There is only one in the junkyard and the Afghani's want about 650 dollars for it.
Right now the temerature is around 120 so Im taking it easy on the car and using the AC.
