and there is one other thing on our cars that helps determine if they have enough oil...its called an oil pressure gauge...Its just to the left of your voltmeter...its got this cool little icon on it that looks like an oil can! Ever seen it?

Im just razzin ya bro! but seriously, if you think you were low on oil, then my guess is...you were low on oil. Im also willing to bet that right before this happened you were going through the gears or rev'n at a stop light...come on, admit it...you over rev'd...leading to spun bearings, loss of oil pressure and a few miles later knockin rods!

either that or your vacuum cleaner turbo leaned your mixture out, heated the cylinders and caused all this mess. Either way, Im thinkin you left out some vital information about how it happened
