what nickle is saying is that while the makers of Slick50 say its good in your engine and can do all this stuff, Dupont, the ones who developed teflon, says that it wasnt designed for that purpose and MAY serve no useful purpose.

I have used some oil additives in the past on some of my harder working vehicles and while I dont have any proof they worked, they made me feel better about the engine.
