Default Yeah Right!!!

Well there is physically NO POSSIBLE WAY to get at that latch without having to damage your top. Also the opening that the seats make when they are down, is not big enough to get that top out...unless it was sideways, but you could NEVER get it sideways with the hatch down.

Wow....ok, I really don't know how you can fix this. The hinges are only able to be got at with it up....so you can't remove the hatch. The top sits JUST below the latch, and doesn't give you room to work on it. Hmmmm.....I can only think that your cable snapped somewhere, but the latch has a dual cable system for the lock, and the pull thing in the cab. So to have BOTH snap....unlikely. If they are both in the "Unlocked" position (That would allow them to operate freely)...then maybe your latch is just caught on something. I would suggest getting SLIGHTLY rough with it, see if it comes open...other than that, I think you have to go to a garage for this one???

Our Supra’s, which art in the driveway,
Hollowed be thy power, thy mods are great, thy speed endless,
On the road or at the track. Give us this day free of cops,
And forgive us our impound charges, as we forgive those who are slow.
And lead us not into speed traps, and deliver us from the interceptors,
For thine is our car, the power, and the glory…forever and ever….amen.
