83restomod is on a distinguished road
Default resto-mod

This is my 83 p-type. It took over 2 years to get it where it’s at now. I just took first place at a local car show in the 2 door import modified class. I'm very proud of the car and everything it’s gone through. body mods include shaved; door handles, emblems, antenna, headlight washers, body side moldings, modified fender flares, trunk key, gas door key. The quarter panels like most supras of that generation were shot and needed to be patched on both sides. A 1985 dual spoiler was added and the old rusted doors were replaced. Paint was done by me and my father thanks to North Brach Collision co. wheels and tires are 16x8 inch 5zigen fno1r-c black with a polished lip wrapped in bfgoodrich g force tires. HID fog lights were custom mounted in the running lights located in the grill. The pop up headlights were replaced to clear euro style lights with blue halo rings. Both lights are controlled by toggle switches. Inside a set of 3a racing seats were added to go along with the new carpet and repainted inter. panels. Sparco steering wheel with quick release hub, weapon type-r 4 point harness with sparco pads were added for some comfort. Audio gear was kept clean with custom mounted component alpine 6 1/2s in the doors, side mounted 6x9s in the back. 2 audiobahn 10 inch subs mounted upside-down each in there own custom fiberglass sealed boxes. The whole floor section where the subs mount is removable for trips to autocross events. Handling is enforced with ebach springs and tokico shocks, true track , addico sway bars, super pro polyurethane bushing kits, cusco strut tower bar, and tech steering tie rod ends. Brakes were upgraded with brembo rotors, Porterfield R4 brake pads, oem caliper rebuild kits and technafit stainless steel braided brake lines all around. The stock motor didn’t need much work due to the low 80,000 miles. Exhaust is let out through a pace setter header with a stainless steel gasket. A high flow race cat, flowmaster muffler, and 2.5 inch stainless steel mandrel bent piping finish the exhaust. New colder spark plugs and wires were also installed. let me know what u guys think.
