I didn't really pick up on the 'cheapest' part. Yes, TEIN are not cheap and I 100% agree going cheap usually cost more money in the end. I just waited longer while I saved my money to go with TEIN Flex and after my first day on the track I was sure glad. I'm sure TEIN SS are great too. By the way jp3z and supradrift...TEIN coilovers are springs AND shocks. If you still have the original shocks on your MKIII they probably need replaced anyway.
So basically for US $1,000.00 for TEIN SS you get high quality lowering and adjustable springs AND shocks. Worth saving your money and being patient.
(just so ya know...pronunciation TEIN is Tane)
