My question is, since I have not passed emissions, and putting on an aftermarket exhaust would eliminate the front Cat, should I; A) buy an aftermarket cat, cut out the old one, weld on flanges to the pipe, and put that one in to pass emissions, or B) should I spring for a new exhaust system with a high flow Cat and hope it passes emissions? I know there are more options than this, so if you have any ideas just let me know. Thanks.
Also, should I try passing emissions with a clogged Cat and no boost, or would that make things worse?

do it right and buy a new cat, and exhaust, just make sure they do not weld the exhaust, and flange it, so after you pass emissions, you can put any muffler you wish on it, a clogged cat will make your emissions very bad...
