Motor Oil depends on where you live really, and what conditions you're dealing with. It's a bit chilly from time to time where I live, so I use fully synthetic 10w-30. If you live in a hot climate 5w-30 might be the way to go. Quaker State or Pennzoil are fairly cheap and very trustworthy brands to use. I've heard from people on here that if your car isn't using sythetic it's best to switch it over. However, the addition of synthetic after long periods without can expose existing oil leaks. It's really your call...I have a turbo model and I've never used any oil that says "turbo approved," nor have I seen such a thing.
Auto tranny fluid is a one shot answer, ATF Dextron III. I would plan on having this tranny serviced regularly, change the filter and get the fluid flushed regularly. I say this because my tranny is only 180,000 kms old and it already needs a complete rebuild. Hope this helps some.
