Transmission Fluid Change

I'm new to the Supra game, and I need help. My transmission sounds like it is low on oil, and it shifts kinda hard. Do I have to drop the tranny to find a fill plug, or do I drain it all out and pump it in from the bottom? Thanks for the advice
