I am starting the task of changing the turbos. This, of course, is a 1jzgte conversion from the 7m engine. I didn't install this engine, but the guy who did put dents in the firewall to get enough clearance for the rear turbo to fit. Now I have to find a way to remove the manifold assembly without removing the air outtake pipe on the rear turbo, which the bolts are almost touching the firewall. Has anyone tried this?Can it be done without pulling the engine? I am trying to get the last stripped bolt off the exhaust pipe and hope to have enough room to get to the exhaust manifold nuts.
