Wow, I just read an article in Nov. 2006's Super Street magazine and on page 77 they have a little insert titled "Holden Commodore GT-R?" It talks about the Commodore VL and how Holden (GM's Australian affiliate) sourced a motor from "shift-happy" Nissan. Initially it came equipped with the RB30E and later was offered as a turbo RB30ET.
Looks very nice.
