well heres an update on how i fixed it cause i realized i never told... first i went to toyota and asked for the cable... it was $50+ so i said NVM, i then went to pick and pull and pulled one and shoved it down my pants... therefore only being $2..shhh dont tell anyone.. then i got home and took out all neccesary pieces to reach the cable completely, took out the old one and compared to the one i jacked.... they were the same size
which sucks cause i thought i needed a shorter one. Well it turns out i just needed to reroute the cable to take a longer course to the back hatch, and make sure that the end near the driver seat was wrapped under the lever which gave it a big leverage/pull. then tested and now my hatch works... sucky thing is now that i think while i was fiddling around down there i think i knocked the gas one loose, cause now i have to manually open my tank lid
so i'll fix that soon enough.
