There are tons of 1JZ out there for sale with the tranny on them 5spd's are easy to find. As for things you will need if you have a r154 tranny then your driveshaft will work out just fine. The mounts if you have round ones then you are good to go. Square mounts will require adapters our a crossmember swap and beleive me that is a pain. You power steering hoses will not fit right up so you have to modify them. If you want a/c then you will have to have a rear a/c line made to fit. You can extend the harness or you can do like me and KWnate and drill a hole in the firewall under the speedo cable and pass it behind your heater core and turn the ECU around. Other than that the motor fits right in and looks a lot better to me than a 7MGTE personal preference. But if you want ease of swap then go for a 7MGTE pretty much everything will bolt right up and there will be no hard mods. I just wanted the twin turbo and no head gasket problems.
