GPS+Engine Management? Need Replies ASAP!

im going to buy a gps system but i was wondering if it was possible to hack it or download to it, engine management programs or boost controllers, oil temp, etc.
does anyone know if you can do that?
what would be the best gps system to buy?
im looking to spend a max of $400 at circuit city (i have a gift card) and i need it by tomorrow! (just the gps, not engine managment)
