I have heard of some guys running the set up you are speaking of.
IMO, it's risky. If you're going to put the money and time into resurfacing the head and the block. Why take the risk.
Honestly I think they both have close to the same success and fail rate.
It's about the quallity of work that's put to it.
I wasn't trying to give you attitude..., wich you clearly took it as.
In the end it's you that has to decide. You know better than anyone how you drive. If you don't tend to drive hard makes a difference.
