Scince you have a slow leak its a good idea to feel all the hoses especially where they are clamped and squeeze them and see the condition of the hose. If it has that brittle feel then its time to replace it. I had one last week that goes under the intake manifold and runs to the ISC valve that dripped a few times, the hose was torn and if I would have drove it home in the 120 degree heat I would have lost the coolant for sure. As it was I broke it off and got the clamp off, cut the bad peice off and re clamped it. That area sucks to work on cause you can't see what your doing so its all by feel. If the engine is hot then you can forget fixing it tell its stone cold.

I would have to drain my coolant to fix this problem correct? Also, for the way our coolant system works, do higher rpm's increase the flow of coolant? i.e. i would lose more coolant in higher RPM's?
