Oil Pan Gasket NOT easy to change. Oil up front could be from crank seal, cam seals, oil pump shaft seal, or elsewhere.

Check all those first.

KEEP those tools for yourself ! Sounds to me like the mechanic AND the service writer/manager are fools, so you don't FOOLs working on your car.

Ask around for a good shop, and have them check out the oil leakks for you (and change the oil, too).

I bet they charged you for the oil change.

Since my city has grown alot over the past 5-6 years, a lot of idiots have opened shops here. They rip people off $$$, and when they actually DO the work they charge for, its crappy.

I wish I could get a job for the Dept. of Consumer Affairs as an undercover cop to bust these A-holes.
