Which supra to buy? UK OR JAP?

hi, im seriously considering buying a TT supra, ive had my scooby now for 4 years and fancy a change,......

if i buy the UK model .probably 96, as i think this is when they started the uk, not sure, then it rolls in with 326BHP if i buy the jap model it only has 280 but i heard somewhere its more like 302-305,

WHY HAS THE UK GOT MORE BHP? whats the difference with the engine?

uk - 0-60 4.9 secs, jap - 0-60 5.1

my target would be to gain 430-450BHP

so my question is, what mods would i need to do this on both uk and jap models? thanks in advance......
