Actually I fixed the old gauge by putting the needle back onto the spring...somehow it flipped off...but since I had a working replacement I figured just use that. I still got the old one as a back up. Changing out the oil pressure gauge from the gauge cluster isn't hard. Just take your time taking it apart piece by piece after removing it from the dash and look at where everything goes when you have to put it back together. Most of the screws are on the outer edge that you need to take off in order to get to the gauge itself. Trial and no error is how I did it. Plastic is kinda hard to glue back together nicely. As far as matching the odometer reading...that might be hard and also not really necessary. Just make a note of what mileage you have now and remember generally how much you add on with the new odometer.
