I just got thru doing a complete overhaul on the motor, metal headgasket, ARP studs, torqued to 82ftlbs. I started with a different (to me and my Supra, JDM motor) so I don't know any history on the engine. It seems to me if the block was cracked I would also get water in my oil. Not so. The head I had reworked at a machine shop. Good reputation but deals mostly with American made.(Here in Memphis not to many machine shops who specilize in foreign cars) Where in the head could I be getting oil in a coolant passage? I also get oil smoke in my exhaust after the car warms up and is driven a little. (mostly when I sit idleing at a red light and then start to go , there is a pretty good puff of blue smoke) Never smokes at all in the morning when I first start her up. (IE: rings or valve seals.) I had a great machine lapped finish on both the head and the block when installing the new headgasket. (I've been thru this headgasket thing a couple of times before discovering you guys here on the forums, and all the wealth of info that's available) I really think it is something in the head, but I have a hard time visualizing where and how? Any one have any other thoughts?
