I changed the oil in mine when i got it. i got synthetic blend. I wanted the petroleum for the detergent properties, and the synthetic for the superior lubrication properties. after 2 or 3 changes that way, most of the gunk will be out, and i can put full synthetic in.
Synthetic is superior because;
- It doesn't break down into carbon & varnish like petroleum does
- Because it doesnt break down like petroleum oils, you can rev higher and run hotter without the oil loosing viscosity.
I got my supra because my last car needed more money than it was worth to be reliable. it has 274.000 miles on it and still runs great. MOBILE 1.
