Electric Fan Controller Temp. question

well if on the EWD page is right then the controller is no use to me!
the temp on the page is between 104F - 140F and the controller can only be set between 160F - 230F or am i assuming something wrong here??
correct me if im wrong please
please do remember that the car has a 7m-ge engine
