I think the mechanic was covering his ass/ wanting more money when he told me he had to remove the pan to do it....

However i guess it depends on how these much the helicoils drill out the hole, if its too much ill prolly just remove the pan anyways to avoid drilling it out too much

I didnt mind paying him like 20-40 buts to rethread that one hole
But i will not pay him to remove pan and replace fluid etc.etc

Plus i just put brand new fluid in it Redline d4 ATF and do not feel like paying for more lol. If i have to remove pan i will be saving and reusing the fluid lol
