Common problem
I think almost every MKIII Supra owner has experienced problems with the factory alarm. I got this trick from a decent mechanic at a Toyota dealership. If the alarm won't let you start the car, insert the key into the door and turn it twice to the right. That should reset it. If it doesn't work, try the passenger door, as it gets key opened much less and will have less wear. I swear this works. I have done it several times.
