You can turbo a N/A car, there's just a lot more work involved in it, so you'd be better of putting in a Turbo motor. However, that still won't solve your current situation, as you will probably need to replace the head gasket in a different motor too. If you're going to want to make a strong motor, get the Metal head gasket with those ARP bolts you said you have.

From what I've read on this forum (which means you can read it too...) the head is what is prone to warping. Our heads (I believe) are made of aluminum, which is much more flexible than the cast iron block. When you put in your metal heads gasket, you will NEED to send that head out to get machined smooth; any imperfection, and your gasket will blow. While your head is gone, you should start prepping the block in whichever fashion you determine is right for you. Just make sure it's realllllllll smooth too.

Since your gonna have your motor apart, are there any other mods your thinking of doing to the car?
