You can also use the over drive for engine braking, just like a manual box when you would drop down a gear to approach a tight bend, what ever you do don’t switch the over drive off on a bend though, you will probably find the back kicking out if the road is wet. The ECT or PWR button is used for fast acceleration, switch it on and hold your foot down to the floor and you'll find the gear box won’t change up until about 5k revs. Bloody amazing these supras when you think about the technology is over 20 years old, some cars don’t even have heated wing mirrors let alone sports mode. All the above functions as well as cruise control etc will be displayed at the bottom of the rev (tachometer) counter dial. Sounds like you may need the handbook, you can download one from HERE.
